WHAT/WHO: Mayor Vincent C. Gray and Chief Financial Officer Natwar M. Gandhi will brief media representatives on the Mayor’s proposed Fiscal Year 2013 Budget and Financial Plan for the District. The briefing will follow immediately after the Mayor’s briefing on the budget for members of the DC Council.

BACKGROUND: On March 23 the Mayor releases his proposed Fiscal Year 2013 Budget and Financial Plan, which will close a $172.2 million gap between expected revenues and expenses. Mayor Gray will walk reporters through the budget proposal and answer questions regarding it.
